● Description
The Extron MLS 102 VGA MediaLink Switcher is a compact, two input, one output active switcher utilizing 15-pin HD connectors. It comes with four switchable audio inputs and includes preamp volume control. Inputs one and two utilize 3.5 mm stereo mini jacks for easy integration with Extron VGA with audio cables. Inputs three and four provide unbalanced audio on captive screw connectors. An additional input, also on a captive screw connector, is an active auxiliary line level mono audio input that can be mixed with any of the other four selectable inputs. When used with a MediaLink Controller, input switching and volume are easily achieved via the controller's user interface. The MLS 102 VGA can be controlled by the front panel input buttons or RS-232.
Part of the Extron VersaTools® line of products, the MLS 102 VGA is housed in a quarter rack width metal enclosure, making it ideal for installation in podiums and other small space areas. Because of its small size, the MLS 102 VGA can also be mounted or placed in a lectern along with a desktop PC and document camera. MediaLink Switchers are designed to be used in conjunction with a MediaLink Controller to facilitate low-cost integration. They can also be used as stand-alone switchers.

250 MHz (-3 dB) RGB video bandwidth- Maintains signal integrity.
Video inputs- Two inputs on female 15-pin HD connectors accept RGB.
Video outputs- The MLS 102 VGA provides RGB output on a female 15-pin HD connector.
Audio- The MLS 102 VGA offers four switchable audio inputs (unbalanced only), each with independent gain and attenuation. Inputs one and two are on 3.5 mm stereo mini jacks for use with VGA with audio cable, while inputs three and four are on captive screw connectors.
Auxiliary/Mix audio input- An additional input accepts mono line level audio signals for mixing with any of the four switchable inputs.
Volume control- Adjustable when integrated with MediaLink System or as part of a third party RS-232 control system.
RS-232 controllable- Switcher control is available through front panel buttons or RS-232. RS-232 control is provided via Extron's Windows®-based control software, and/or a third party control system using Extron Simple Instruction Set (SIS™). When the switcher is used with a MediaLink Controller, it can remotely control the MLS 102 VGA's I/O switching and volume control.
Rack-mountable- The MLS 102 VGA is housed in a 1U, quarter rack width metal enclosure.
