Matrox MXO는 MAC테스크톱 또는 노트북에서 디지털영상을 DVI를 통하여 Matrox MXO로 전송, 방송급 화질의 HD/SD 아날로그/디지털 비디오 변환, 출력 하수 있습니다.

Matrox MXO를 사용하여 Apple Final Cut Pro프로젝트를 비디오 모니터로 Previw할수 있으며, Apple Motion,Shake,DVD Studio,Adobe After Effects등과 같은 어플리케이션에서 디지탈 영상을 비디오로 Preview하거나 프레임의 중복 및 drop현상이 없이 테이프로 녹화할수 있습니다. 또한 Matrox MXO는 Keynote,PowerPiont프레젠테이션.웹브라우저 세센,소프트웨어 어플리케이션등 프로그레시브 VGA화면을 인터레리스 비디오로 출력할때 떨림 현상이 없이 flicker-free고해상도 비디오 영상을 제공합니다.

MAC PC와 Matrox MXO와 연결하기

Matrox MXO는 사용하기 쉬운 외장 박스입니다. 이것은 MAC의 귀중한 슬롯을 소비하지 안으며,또한 자신만의 전원 공급 장치를 갖고 있어 핫스왑 형식으로 쉽게 다른 시스템으로 이동이 용이 합니다.  
MXO은 DVI커낵터를 갖고 있는 PowerMAC, IMAC , 그리고 랩탑에 사용이 가능하며,  PCI-X혹은 PCIe슬롯을 사용사는 I/O카드 형식보다 더욱 다목적입니다.
MXO의 SDI신호의 출력은 방송장비에서 필요로하는 케이블 길이(SD:300M , HD : 100M)만큼 사용가능 하도록 설계되어 있습니다.
